You can take part in activities to improve your health at the health promotion<\/strong> or health education centres located within every health centre in the country.<\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner column_margin=”default” bottom_padding=”2%” text_align=”left”][vc_column_inner column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” width=”1\/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” overlay_strength=”0.3″ column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column_text]Some health centres have health education centres (ZVC), while others have health promotion centres (CKZ). These are independent organisational units that employ teams of specialists active in the field of health promotion and disease prevention. At the outset, health education centres were established at all health centres in Slovenia. As their importance and that of prevention in achieving better health and well-being outcomes for the population increased, these health education centres developed into health promotion centres. Over time, all health education centres will become health promotion centres. The key difference between them lies in the fact that health promotion centres employ specialists from several different fields and offer a larger number of workshops and consultations.<\/p>\n
